Adrian Butterfield has an international reputation as a violinist, director and conductor specialising in period performance. He is Musical Director of the Tilford Bach Festival, Associate Music Director of the London Handel Festival, Professor of Baroque Violin at the Royal College of Music and teaches on numerous baroque music courses. He leads and directs The Revolutionary Drawing Room and The London Handel Players and directs and conducts The London Handel Orchestra, as well as working with many other ensembles in Europe and North America.

Geoffrey Govier is one of the leading British exponents of the early piano and has performed in Europe, New Zealand, the far and Middle East, and America, both as a soloist and a chamber musician. He has played with many key figures in the period-instrument movement, including the singers Charles Daniels, Catherine Bott, Gerald Finley, the horn player Andrew Clark, and the chamber groups The Revolutionary Drawing Room and Ensemble Galant with whom he has made a number of recordings. He is Professor of Fortepiano at the Royal College of Music and an enthusiastic teacher giving regular masterclasses in Britain and abroad. He has also served on the jury of a number of international fortepiano competitions.
