John Crockatt plays principal violin and viola with groups including the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age Enlightenment, The Academy of Ancient Music and the English Baroque Soloists. From 2016 he has been a member of the London Haydn Quartet, touring in the USA, Singapore and Japan and recording the string quartets of Joseph Haydn.
John Reid studied at Cambridge and RAM, receiving the 2004 Gerald Moore Award and the 2003 Kathleen Ferrier and Maggie Teyte Pianist Prizes. John performs with many leading ensembles, singers and instrumentalists. He is an Associate of RAM, where he is now a professor.
